Simply complete the registration form on the registration page, if you are not sure which group to belongto you can always change your selection once you have completed registration.

During busy times this can take a while to come through, if you have not received it 24 hours after registering then please contact us.

ibelongto is designed to help individuals raise money for their chosen group, charity or Sports club, without costing the individual anything. Simply click on the link to one of our hundreds of shops, buy something online and see a percentage of the sale go to your nominated group. The site also allows you to create your own customised home page, chat to friends and compete in hundreds of competitions for not for money prices.

You need to go to the "ibelongto settings" page and adjust everything form there. Each area within the page has an individual help guide.

You can communicate with your friends in 3 different ways on the site.

1. Private Message - This works a lot like email where you can send a message to anyone of your friends. They will then collect the message in their inbox, from here they can reply to the message if they so wish. You can access your messages on the Friends page of the site.
2. Chat - This function allows you to have live chats with your frinds who are currently logged into the site. As soon as you send a message they receive it and can respond to it, a history of the chat is kept for 3 days. You can be involved in up to 3 chat rooms at once, and have multiple friends in each room. You can chat to your friends from the playing card Carousel on My Page and also from the friends page of the site.
3. Skype - The ibelongto system is integrated with Skype. If you have an existing Skype account then simply enter your Skype name during registration, you can then call everyone else who has entered a Skype name. The Skype system allows you to talk to through the internet and also view the call via webcams, it is free and is a great way of keeping in touch. You can Skype your friends from the playing card Carousel on My Page and also from the friends page of the site.

In the friends section there is a search box where you can search to see if people you know are registered on the site. You will then be given a list of matches to your search, simply click on the person you wish to become friends with and click on the request friend invitation button. Your friend will then receive a friend request, once they confirm you are friends they will become visible in your own carousel.

If you are responsible for a Charity or other group then you can create your own belongto group and encourage friends and supporters to use the site to raise money for your group. The way you do this is to register on the site as an individual.

When you click on a link to one of our partner shops and then buy something from that shop you earn a commission payment for the group that you belongto. This payment is then processed and your groups profile as well as your own is updated. It takes a few days on average for your purchase details to be passed back to the ibelongto system.
